Purpose To assess your application to take part in the chosen working group, in the light of your profile and experience (including the CV or link you provide), and to contact you. If you tick the box, to send you news from the Foundation by email.
Legal basis Taking steps at your request prior to your joining the group (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for the news, your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email.
Recipients No data is disclosed to third parties. If you join the group, your name and profile will be known to the other members. Amazon Web Services acts as a processor. If you tick the news box, your contact details are added to the list managed by Mailchimp (The Rocket Science Group LLC), a processor, with the transfer to the US based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and, in the alternative, on the standard contractual clauses.
Retention While the application is being assessed or for as long as your participation lasts, and for up to two years from the last contact. The CV file is deleted when it is no longer needed and, at the latest, after one year. Rights Access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability, by writing to dpo@civitana.org.
